Amber Marie Liliedahl (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the realms of soul and symbol in Victoria BC, Canada. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in analogue photography from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, before moving to Victoria in 2017. Amber is interested in the hazy borders of intimate and archetypal experience; how symbols such as butterflies and vases can hold universal resonance, and personal significance at the same time. Her art practice is largely informed by her investigations in depth psychology, animistic philosophy, and psychedelic inquiry. Plants, animals, femme beings, and talismanic symbols are all sentient in Amber’s world, brought to life by use of ink pens, paints, pastels, beads, and whatever other mediums she finds fitting to portray soulfulness. She has recently begun hosting process-oriented painting workshops and community art nights, borne of her love for artistic introspection and meaningful connection.

In addition to her creative practice, Amber offers down-to-earth tarot readings informed by her studies in depth psychology and western esotericism. She books appointments for individuals and small groups out of Cream Life and Style in Fernwood, as well as special events for folks wanting a remarkable form of entertainment.
